Thousands of worshippers have marched to Bechouat’s old church in the Beqaa Valley, the Sanctuary of our Lady of Bechouat, to visit the blue and white statue of the Virgin Mary believed to perform divine miracles. Bechouat welcomes pilgrims who sometimes spend the nights humbly praying or in meditation at her church door, below the ancient oak tree.
